Magic Like That picture book

Happy book birthday to MAGIC LIKE THAT! This book publishes today and it’s poetry by Samara Cole Doyan and illustrations by Geneva Bowers are just beautiful. I was honored to be the art director and designer on this project.

The book takes the reader on a journey with a young Black girl as she explores her potential and “magic” of her natural hair. Check it out!
