21 Feb In My World
I’ve been quite busy with book design projects, but I’ve found time to begin to create the save the date and invitations for my wedding happening in the fall. Eeeeeee!
I felt strongly that I wanted my watercolor to be a part of the look and feel of the wedding stationery, so recently I’ve created several layered watercolor wash vignettes. These will be used as the background texture and color for all my printed pieces for the wedding.
A deep teal is the main color and it’s paired with touches of earth tones, marigold yellows, and soft muted oranges. I want rich color that says autumn, but not your typical color schemes—no pumpkin orange here.
I cannot wait to scan these washes and create the type design!
Have a great weekend!
