Happy July! Today marks just over 1 month till my first festival this summer—The Park Ave Festival in Rochester, NY! (Yikes—there’s so much to do still! Breathe, breathe. I have to remind myself to take it one step at a time and it will all come together, right? Right. I’m a big believer into breaking large projects into mini steps. It helps me to feel accomplishment and not feel so overwhelmed. )

Anyway, it will be a busy few weeks, but it will be all worth it once I pull my tent together and fill it with all my colorful, playful paper goods and artwork! It’s truly a great feeling. I’m also looking forward to sharing all my artwork with my booth visitors. I love seeing people reactions. I hope you will be visiting! All my information about my Park Ave booth location will be coming next week.

In the meantime, I’m squeezing in a few more paintings and collages in the next couple of weeks. My latest one that is off to be framed is called, The Birthday Parade.

I like my group of animal friends and I have a feeling you’ll be seeing more of these guys in future art. There’s a story in them that I have to pull together. I bet you, too, can imagine the adventures and mishaps this group could have. At my festivals, The Birthday Parade painting will be available for sale and I’ll have prints of it as well.

One more thing I wanted to share with you about my travels. This year was the first year I actually MADE my own postcards while away to send to folks back east. Super cool right?!
